~ you bless me....~

when a pet dies
that special, warm place in our hearts
suddenly becomes empty

it will take time to struggle through the loss

but we realize

as time passes

that all animals have a way of teaching us about

love

loyalty

joy

and friendship

and whatever we've shared in their presence

can never really be lost

to my blogger friends & sisters ~~

thank you...

thank you

for your sweet words

your comforting words

your encouraging words

and most of all ~ your prayers

you bless me in ways i can not comprehend

i love you all

and when there comes a time when you're feeling

complete and utter sadness

heartbreaking loss

and your soul is searching for a place of comfort

seek out

kerrie is waiting for you there

with kind words

a loving embrace

and bright hope

through her words

you will experience God's love and peace
in ways you've never known

and your heart

will be healed

 ♥

so that its waves are still
then they are glad because they are quiet
so he guides them to their desired haven."

  8. Oh, Laurie- I wasn't sure if you get emailed when comments are added to your old posts so I am re-posting this here.

I missed the post about your loss. I am soo, soo sorry. I know we have talked about our pets in the past...and losing them does leave a hole that nothing else can ever quite fill.

I hate that this happened so close to Christmas for you and Roger. Know that I am saying a prayer for you now that you look back and remember the joy and that it will edge out the heartache! Hugs my dear, sweet, loving friend- xxoo Diana

  9. I'm so sorry for your loss, Laurie. I know how you feel and even this post brought tears to my eyes remembering my Max. He was such a huge part of my life and more a friend than a pet.

It does get better, but they'll always be in our hearts.

    Best wishes,

    Kathleen

  10. Those are beautiful words! No one really ever dies..., if only we could see! Some people do and "feel" the presence of a loved one even when not in the body anymore. Best wishes!!!

  14. Hey there my sweet bloggy friend! I'm sooo sorry for this news. All of your animals are so blessed to have you as their caregiver...they truly are! It makes me smile seeing how much you love them...they're just precious! I have been overly busy so sorry it's been a bit since I've given you a "shout-out" ha! I just had to send a huge hug to one of the sweetest girls on the block :) Only the very best to you and yours this Holiday!
